What?

An authentic campaign to activate the general public in order to wake up Flemish policy makers.

Challenge:

The problem: There are a lot of people with disabilities in Flandres that are waiting years for help and support by the government. They always rely on their friends, parents, family and aren’t able to live their lives in freedom.
The government decides who gets a personal assistance budget and who doesn’t without giving them a good reason.
The campaign was launched right before the elections. This was the perfect time to let politicians make promises to people with disabilities.

Strategy:

  1. Giving an emotional story of an authentic and sincere problem situation of somebody with a disability
  2. Using the upcoming elections to give people the opportunity to help them to come up with a solution.
  3. Generating support for the campaign by as much as possible interest groups and audiences.
